What can this inbox not do?
It cannot answer personal medical questions. Not “should I take this”, not “what do my labs mean”, not “is this normal for me”. Tommy & James is written by a health writer, not a clinician, and no honest answer to those questions is possible from an email. Please do not send medical records, test results or photographs. Anything of that kind that arrives will be deleted without being read in detail.
If you have a specific health question, it belongs with a clinician who can see your history. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
